Thom's talked tough about never releasing data on the number of folks that downloaded Radiohead's latest opus from inrainbows.com (nor what they paid), but Billboard can say with specificity that enough folks went to record stores this week to make In Rainbows the #1 album in the US (122,000 of 'em), which follows the record having gone to #1 in the UK as well. So in news probably separate by timed well enough to be called "a celebration of this chart success," the band's gone and announced the cities (no dates or venues yet, mind) that they'll hit in 2008. And of course we've posted 'em for you, partially to get you excited, and partially to marvel at how few other bands we'd run a dateless, venueless story like this for (My Bloody Valentine and a John-and-George-resurrected Beatles come to mind).
