Really interesting and sad watching the young mind's reckoning with PTSD mixed with drugs, existentialism, religion in a strange land. For many, the escape turns into a nightmare. I keep thinking "therapy not religion" but the zealouts are the ones who are offering help and the lost are so willing to grasp onto anything to pull them out of their hell.
How much easier it would be if these people were brainwashed- how much simpler if they had no conscience like the enemies they are forced to defend themselves against back home. I find Hillik,the elder ex-secret service agent coming to the aid of the "flipped" a compelling figure.
